More About Me
First and foremost, I am a Husband, Father and Son who loves his family and puts them first in everything i do. From a professoinal standpoint, I have been keeping the community safe with nearly 30 years in corrections at the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office. I am currently a corrections sergeant and shift supervisor responsible for staff and 170 inmates. This year, I decided to take advantage of several learning opportunities that would allow me to grow my current expertise in corrections by learning building design and real estate sales. I joined Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate - The Masiello Group as a Real Estate Agent and joined Dirigo Building Science Engineers as a CAD Designer. I will facilitate opportunities designing commercial, industrial, and residential building projects and apply my real estate license by facilitating the sale of new and renovated building projects to out-of-state clients that are investing in Maine. The Transition Specialist position is evolving to meet societal needs that helps fill the gap between parole, probation, and integration into the workforce. I will ultimately oversee integrating former inmates and people with past substance use disorders back into the workforce by helping to identify educational opportunities and programs. I will be available as a supervisor and employee adviser to assure a successful transition and job satisfaction. My hobbies include playing the guitar, exercising, coaching and umpiring and hanging out with my family.
